Heading north on US395, we decided to drive into Reno, NV so that we could visit the National Automotive Museum (The Harrah Collection). In addition to the 200+ antique and vintage automobiles on display, there was also a multimedia presentation on the history of some of the classic cars that are on display at the museum (photos #2 and #3).
We continued north on US395, crossing the Oregon border in the early afternoon, and stopping to take the obligatory wave-to-the-camera-next-to-the-road-sign photo (caught with a cookie in my mouth). It had rained on an off during our drive. But, we were greeted by a near-full rainbow when we arrived at our motel in Burns, Oregon.
