| I put the threaded sleeve over the shock, and it didn't quite sit flush all the way down. So I pulled it off, and found that the aluminum collar came off and stuck with the shock body. This aluminum collar can be pushed down with some persuasion. Once the aluminum collar is positioned, the threaded sleeve can be placed on the shock body. The threaded sleeve actually has a groove in it (you can just see it) that allows it to rest on the aluminum collar. |
