The metal shield is removed, revealing the access to the top of the
rear left shock. The wire running on top of the fuel hose was for a trunk
pin switch for an alarm I have. Access to the nuts on top of the shocks is
either between the 2 fuel hoses or above both hoses.
The center nut of the KYB shock is 14mm, and the other 2 nuts are also 14mm. Remove the 2 mounting nuts, but not the upper shock nut. That'll be loosened and removed once the shock/springs are pulled out of the car, and the springs are under compression. |
