Inside the threaded sleeve is a metal collar that ends up resting on a perch ring on the KYB shock body. The bottom of that metal collar is 1" from the bottom of the threaded sleeve. The ring is 1/2" wide.

The threaded sleeve is 4" long, and has an outer diameter of 2.38" and an inner diameter of 2.07".

The spring perch is 0.885" tall. The part of the perch that the spring rests on and which the allen nut is screwed to is 0.455" tall.

From this, you can calculate the actual usable range of adjustment of the spring perch. Range = 4.00" - 2 x 0.885" = 2.234" So you have roughly 2 1/4" of total adjustment available.

The distance between 30 threads on the sleeve is 3.78" or roughly one complete turn of the spring perch results in a height change of 1/8".
